NAVIFOR Sailors of the Year

The U.S. Naval Information Forces in Suffolk, Virigninaname their top sailors for 2018.

Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) supports operational commanders ashore and afloat by providing combat-ready Information Warfare forces, which are forward deployable, fully trained, properly manned, capably equipped, always ready, well maintained, and combat sustainable.

NAVIFOR Mission is to provide naval and joint operational commanders with combat-ready Information Warfare forces to execute missions in support of U.S. interests worldwide

Naval Information Forces announces the 2018 Sea, Shore and Reserve Sailor of the Year at an awards ceremony on January 30th. Cryptologic Technician (Networks) 1st Class (IW) Kara Budreau, assigned to NIOC Texas-Minneapolis, was announced as NAVIFOR Reserve Sailor of the Year.
